Maggie Ragatz, Certified Massage Therapist, has been practicing massage therapy in San Luis Obispo County
since 2006. She is pleased to offer a unique, relaxing, and effective form of Massage Therapy to active professionals,
people suffering from sports or other injury, or folks simply interested in an hour of down time.

WHAT TO EXPECT Every body is different, and your massage should be tailored to you and your needs. Some clients seek to address chronic postural concerns; others to focus on old injuries and the corresponding scar tissue; other still just want to relax. If your ideal is one massage a week or once a month, Maggie will help you develop a plan that works for you. Maggie will answer your questions and discuss your personal health history with you, and together you will find the best ways to reach your goals.

• PRESSURE
Massage Therapy can be intense, moderate, or soft--it's up to you. The pressure of this massage
varies depending on your personal preference. Maggie will check in with you throughout your session
to make sure you are enjoying your deep, medium or gentle pressure massage.

• DEEP PRESSURE
Massage Therapy can be deep and intense, if you choose. Some clients like to feel like the massage is
"really working" or "doing something," and they request Deep Tissue. At any point Maggie encourages clients
to speak up if the pressure is either too intense or not deep enough. Benefits of a deep massage include flushing
toxins, improving circulation, increasing range of motion, and deepening the sense of relaxation.

• GENTLE PRESSURE
Massage Therapy can be light and gentle, if you prefer. Some clients enjoy a massage that's thorough but
doesn't use too much pressure to facilitate their relaxation and stress-relief. A gentle massage leaves you
feeling restored and centered with soothing, even pressure. Benefits include stress-reduction, improved
circulation, and improved lymph flow.
